Along with sound producer/guitarist/composer Bill Atkinson, Jen produced and directed her own live music, poetry and performance venue in Fremantle from 2007-2009 called, "de Ness & Friends".   de Ness & Friends  became a popular platform for professional singer/songwriters, poets, actors and Jen's own singing students to perform their shows and creative works in a supportive environment.

A fun, entertaining story about the power of community as told by the characters who frequent the Green Tile Tango club. Their intertwining stories come to life through quick costume changes, fun, passionate storytelling, and a smorgasbord of original music and Tango dancing , crossed with fun sing-a-longs and French Cabaret to Boot! 

Sam gets his story, Jack gets his lesson, Esta and Michele find love and we all belt out, ‘Forget About Pierre!’ to help Jaquie reinvent herself. A visual and aural musical storytelling sing-a-long feast, with live musicians/singers and Tango dancers.

In Green Tile Tango Jen is joined by fellow composer/guitarist Bill Atkinson, whose, “superb guitar work and vocal harmonies” (Broadway World Review) and “skilful playing and complimentary harmonies” (Glam Adelaide) helps “bring the stories to life as Jen inhabits her exotic characters… through attraction, passion and betrayal, all to the rhythm of the tango!” (Adelaide Theatre Guide) Jen and Bill first locked eyes in 1992 over the recording of Jen’s debut single at ABC Radio Perth (where Bill was Senior Music Producer/ Sound Tech for 12 years, recording numerous local and International Orchestras, jazz bands and original artists.) Jen and Bill began producing and writing songs together in 1996 and have been performing, writing, recording and producing original music and shows together ever since.
