Green Tile Tango, an original Cabaret-style musical created by fellow composers, Jen de Ness and Bill Atkinson, steps onto the stage of Domain Theatre for one night only for Adelaide Fringe this March.

With a Sold-Out debut show at ADFringe in 2020, Jen (vocalist/performer/composer) and Bill (guitarist/composer) join forces once again with Southern Cross Tango Directors, Adrienne and Andrew Gil, alongside fellow members, Tricia Miller and Glynn Nicholas.

This fun, entertaining show about the eccentric characters from a local tango club, is brought to life through a smorgasbord of original music and dancing, quick costume changes, French cabaret and sing-a-longs. Celebrates the power of community to help us laugh, cry, sing and dance to survive the rigours of love. Sam gets his story, Jack gets his lesson, Esta and Michele find love, and we all belt out, 'Forget About Pierre!' so Jaquie can reinvent herself.

In Green Tile Tango the “excellent song writing” and “magnificent voice” of International Singer/Songwriter Jen de Ness and “superb guitar playing” of fellow composer Bill Atkinson (BWW Review 2015) are accompanied by some of the hottest and best Tango Dancers in Adelaide from Southern Cross Tango. Directors Adrienne and Andrew Gill with dancer Tricia Miller and performer/director/dancer Glynn Nicholas. Together they form one of the Adelaide Fringe festivals most diverse and entertaining acts.

Green Tile Tango tells the story of the eccentric characters who frequent the Green Tile Tango Club (inspired by some real-life love skirmishes and the couples own visit to a local tango club ). Their intertwining stories come to life through a smorgasbord of original live music and tango dancing, crossed with French Cabaret and the occasional sing-a-long.
